Jun. 5--LOWELL -- Lowell High's softball team is fortunate enough to have a family of aces.

High school softball Last season, Katie Hebert pitched the Red Raiders to the Division 1 state championship.

This spring, her sister, Danielle, has joined her as a regular in Lowell's pitching rotation.

And the Hebert sisters have presented the Red Raiders' foes with a mound of trouble.

Katie Hebert, a senior righthander, turned in a route-going performance in Lowell's tournament opening win. Yesterday, Danielle followed her big sister's lead with a prime-time performance of her own.
