Hip-hop event will raise
funds for Womenspace
More than 60 hip-hop artists will gather today at the McDonald Theatre to raise money for Womenspace.
The second annual variety show, "Down 4 It," includes dancers, DJs and breakdancers. The performers are volunteering their talents to benefit the agency, which provides crisis services, a drop-in advocacy center, legal advocacy, case management and more to women and children dealing with domestic violence.
