Pak soldier killed in militant attack in North Waziristan
Islamabad, June 5 (PTI) A Pakistani soldier was killed and another injured when suspected militants fired rockets at a military checkpost in the restive North Waziristan tribal region today, officials said.
A volley of rockets were fired at the checkpost at Garyum area in North Waziristan. The army used artillery to shell areas from where the rockets were fired, they said.
This is the second attack on security forces in North Waziristan in two days.
