Nayeem urges WB Govt to keep Cup delegation short
Kolkata, Jun 5 (PTI) Former national soccer coach Syed Nayeemuddin today urged the West Bengal government not to send a big delegation for watching World Cup matches, but instead set aside a part of the money to give financial grant to celebrated former star Sailen Manna.
"I think the govenrment should keep its delegation short," Nayeemuddin told PTI here.
"Sailen Manna is old and ailing. He has fallen on bad times. The government should help him financially, by cutting cost on sending the delegation," Nayeem said and appealed to the Indian government and Mohun Bagan to come forward to help ...
