SUFFOLK -- BY LINDA McNATT
THE VIRGINIAN-PILOT
SUFFOLK - When the rest of the family shunned him, Daisy Denise Coleman stayed in contact with her half-brother.
She talked with him on the phone, begged him to come for holidays, shared their father's coin collection with him .
But something went wrong on the morning of Sept. 22, 2005. Bob, Coleman said in court this week, wasn't himself. She was afraid he was going to hurt her.
Coleman, 45, ran to a back bedroom, retrieved a .22-caliber rifle from her father's closet, and shot James Robert Parker to death.
