IT DOESN'T get much better than this... fantastic weather, a quality bill and a headline act at the top of their game playing virtually a greatest hits set.
Hitting the stage after the likes of Alice Cooper, Thunder and Journey, Deep Purple faced the opposition head-on and pulled something special out of the bag for this first Monsters of Rock in a decade.
