Jun. 7--Madison -- State attorney general candidate Paul Bucher said Tuesday he has identified 77 illegal immigrants convicted of serious crimes that the state has released on parole since 2003. But the state Department of Corrections said at least 42 of them were turned over to federal authorities, and an immigration official said Wisconsin does a good job of helping federal agents ensure that people who need to be deported are kicked out of the country.
