At the end of this week, the aEuropean Commission will be wrapping up a public consultation on biofuels as a source of energy for the future and having another think as to how to give renewable energy like this a higher profile and boost its share of the energy mix. Essential reading for the consultation is a reportapublished on 14 March by the Biofuels Research Advisory Councila detailing its 'Vision for 2030 and Beyond' on the future of biofuels in the European Union.
