She is, Brandi Davis said without hesitation, "very surprised to be where I am."
Today she is in New York City, a rookie member of the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks and about to play her sixth game as a professional.
The former Oregon women's basketball player with a flair for the game but little fanfare about her future as a pro will be dressed in a Sparks uniform for today's Los Angeles-New York Liberty game at Madison Square Garden that is scheduled for an ABC live telecast at 1 p.m.
