If all goes as expected, Oregon senior Eric Mitchum will settle into the starting blocks for the final of the 110-meter high hurdles at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Sacramento on Friday.
The UO record-holder at 13.38 seconds must first survive the first round and semifinal heats on Wednesday to set up his sixth consecutive appearance - indoors and outdoors - in the ultimate NCAA sprint hurdle race of the season.
