Jun. 9--VERNON -- The Democratic candidates for governor yesterday said they support same-sex marriage and would strengthen enforcement of laws against Internet predators rather than regulate Web sites such as MySpace.com. In a debate at Rockville High School, party nominee Stamford Mayor Dannel Malloy and primary challenger New Haven Mayor John DeStefano Jr., both attacked Republican Gov. M. Jodi Rell's leadership on jobs, health care, transportation and education spending, but kept the gloves off for the most part. "Both the mayor and I were on good behavior," DeStefano said.
