The output reached 1.5695 million tons in 2005, an increase of 24.1% over the previous year and the growth was much higher than previous years. It is expected that the capacity of concentrated nitric acid in China will still increase at an annual rate of 10% in the next 3-5 years and will be more than 2.7 million tons in 2008.
