The AGAT-SP5 series of volumetric microwave intruder detectors from STR International Inc., based on Russian technology, detect intruders from 16.4 to 262 feet long and up to 16.4 feet wide, depending on the transceiver model. The field length, width and sensitivity settings are all adjustable directly from the unit with all setting controls protected by a tamper-proof lid. In order to combat false alarms, the AGAT-SP5 continually learns and adjusts to changes in the environment.
