New Hungarian government takes office as parliament elects Ferenc Gyurcsany as prime minister

BUDAPEST. JUNE 9. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - The Hungarian Parliament on Friday elected Ferenc Gyurcsany as prime minister, in the same vote accepting the government program.

Of Parliament's 386 representatives, 365 took part in the vote, with 206 voting "aye" and 159 "nay" to elect Gyurcsany as PM.
