Jun. 10--La Costena Foods' selection of Tucson as its U.S. corporate headquarters might not be as exciting as Google's pick of Phoenix for its engineering center earlier this year, but it would be a mistake to dismiss or minimize the importance of the move to Tucson and the surrounding region. La Costena is a major Mexican corporation with markets around the world. It's a solid company that's been in business for 83 years. The move here will mean about 100 jobs to start in Tucson and potentially many more jobs in Southeastern Arizona communities like Willcox, Bowie and Elfrida, where farmers are already growing tomatoes, beans, chiles and other crops the company ...
