Mike Coffman says he could imagine pulling the trigger.
What he can't imagine is having to live with doing it.
I have come to talk to him about Haditha. Coffman was there. He's the only state treasurer I know who was there.
According to Coffman, Haditha is a pretty little town on the Euphrates, groves of palm trees lining the banks, a market on River Street. It's also a Sunni stronghold where insurgents and Marines have been engaged in an unpicturesque conflict.
