MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Copy Duplicating Products (CDP), headquartered in Richfield, Minn., has announced its acquisition of Dataworld Systems, Incorporated, of Houston.  On Dec. 1, 1993, CDP assumed management of the business, now known as CDP Imaging Systems. As CDP's 15th branch office, CDP Imaging Systems will offer Mita copies, Minolta color copiers and Muratec fax machines, along with service and support. 
Paul Mercer, formerly a district manager with CDP in Richfield, has been promoted to general manager of the Houston branch.  CDP Imaging Systems will continue to service equipment purchased under Dataworld's former dealership.
