NEW YORK - A new formalwear force is in the making.
Jeff Weintraub, owner of Formal 1, and Alan Altman, representing the Westreich family, owners of Lord West, are preparing to sign a joint venture later this month creating a new formalwear company.
The expected combined volume of the firm, called Flow Formal Alliance LLC, will be about $50 million annually.
Weintraub, who will continue as chairman of George Weintraub & Son, and Altman will act as co-managers of Flow Formal Alliance. They will be jointly responsible for the financial and business operations of the combined venture.
