PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y., June 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cedar Shopping Centers, Inc. today announced that the Company has completed the purchase of the Gold Star Plaza Shopping Center in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. Gold Star Plaza is a 72,000 square foot community center anchored by a 47,000 square foot Redner's supermarket which will celebrate a "grand reopening" on July 5 after remodeling of the store and construction of Redner's Quick Shoppe on an outparcel. The property is located on 20 acres, permitting expansion of up to 24,000 square feet. The purchase also includes two additional pad sites for future development.
