The new president of the British Limousin Society is Cumbrian breeder William Cowx, of Hudscales, Hesket New Market, Wigton.

Mr Cowx is the eighth president to be elected to the society in its 35-year history in the United Kingdom, and he will serve a two-year term of office, taking over the presidency from Douglas Crighton.
