Jun. 13--Their yearlong relationship ended violently over dinner one July night. Thirteen days later, Tamela Hardison's life was over as well, and her boyfriend sat in jail charged with murder. Clarence Fry doesn't deny plunging a butcher knife into Hardison's body. His trial this month has instead been about the punishment. Summit County prosecutors say Fry stalked Hardison, plotting and carrying out her slaying to keep her from testifying against him in a domestic violence case. They're asking jurors to recommend Fry be executed.
