Jun. 13--Capping months of often acrimonious debate over zoning for two local golf courses and rules for recreational vehicle parking, the San Ramon City Council will hold a final hearing tonight on proposed zoning ordinance revisions. The revision, years in the works, would align the existing zoning ordinance with the voter-approved general plan 2020. It has been debated rigorously since February. The City Council decided last month to approve the new golf course provision, but it will also seek a general plan amendment that would create a golf land-designation, specifically to alleviate residents' fears of future commercial or ...
