The 2006-07 slate at the Vineyard Theater, the Off Broadway nonprofit where "Avenue Q" originated, features works by Nicky Silver ("Pterodactyls," "Raised in Captivity"), Anne Washburn ("Apparition") and a revival of a little-known 1920 play by "Peter Pan" author J.M. Barrie.
Silver will star in his own play, "The Agony and the Agony," set for a run in spring 2007 as part of the theater's Lab Production Series. Comedy, about the revenge of a writer, will be helmed by Terry Kinney, who also directed Silver's "Beautiful Child" at the Vineyard.
Before that, though, the theater's 25th-anni season will kick off Oct. 24 with Washburn's "The Internationalist" ...
