High Point- Hoping to ease travel woes for West Coast buyers, the International Home Furnishings Market Authority may offer charter flights from key western cities for those attending the fall market.
Under a proposal discussed at last week's meeting of the Market Authority board, flights would originate in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas and go non-stop to Greensboro/High Point.
Fares could be as little as $99 each way for buyers, although board members stressed the proposal is still preliminary and actual costs may not be known for some time.
