BEIJING, June 14 Asia Pulse - China is witnessing an upsurge of investment in polycrystalline silicon projects, but investors may face oversupply of polycrystalline silicon by 2008.
The world's polycrystalline silicon supply capacity is estimated at more than 30,000 tons at present, and will double by 2008, basically meeting the demand, according to Elkem Solar, one of the world's largest polycrystalline silicon suppliers.
