KEMPSVILLE - A teal blue summer dress with sandals and a ponytail wasn't always Tara Griffin's typical work attire.
Boots, fatigues and a hat typically were the norm .
For more than 23 years, Griffin served in the Marines Corps. Now she says, she's more in touch with her feminine side and has a business that fits that personality.
In January, she opened D&J Unique Gift s in Kemps River Shopping Center.
