NEW YORK -- Magazines are the perfect fit for drug stores, whether at the checkstand or in line.
Publishers at many magazines--especially those targeted to women--say drug store shoppers and their publications' readers axe one and the same.
And retailers note that many of the products written about and advertised in consumer magazines are the staple health and beauty aids sold by drug chains. Inclusion of a product in a magazine article can help drive sales in their stores, they say.
