If build-to-order works for cars, Mini figures it should work for credit cards, too.
Mini Financial Services will begin marketing a Visa card to Mini owners Monday, June 19. Customers can design the face of the card with the Mini model of their choice. The customization mimics the process many Mini buyers use to design and order a production vehicle.
Users can configure the card with a million variations, said Ed Robinson, CEO of BMW Financial Services, Americas Region.
Mini Financial Services is a division of the BMW captive finance company.
