ATLANTA, June 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Georgia-Pacific Corp. today announced that A.D. "Pete" Correll will retire as chairman of the company's board of directors effective June 30, 2006. Correll will continue to serve as an advisor to Georgia-Pacific's board and its leadership team as chairman emeritus. Joseph W. Moeller, president and chief executive officer, will assume additional responsibilities, serving as chairman, president and chief executive officer.
