Jun. 15--One learned CPR from a safety course years ago. The other watched mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on TV.

The two men are credited with saving a teen from drowning yesterday in a pool at an apartment complex in Franklinton.

The rescue occurred shortly after 6 p.m. at the Cornerstone Apartments, on W. Rich Street at Central Avenue.

Michael Caldwell was hanging out at the pool at his apartment complex with his friend Frank Frazier, who also lives there, his cousin Jamel Scott, and Frazier's girlfriend, Stephanie Lilly. Several neighbors also were in the water.
