FORMER Taoiseach Charles Haughey lay in state yesterday as thousands of mourners paid their last respects.
The hearse had been escorted from his beloved Kinsealy home in North Dublin to the nearby Church of Our Lady of Consolation in Donnycarney by a motorbike cavalcade.
