Eighteen South African golfers, including the four national team members who recently toured France, have entered next week's British Amateur at Royal St George's and the adjacent Prince's course in Kent.
Charl Coetzee, George Coetzee, David Hewan and Brandon Grace made up the SA team that lost narrowly - 41/2-31/2 - to the French in a Test match at Morfonteine. However, in a 54-hole Invitational at La Boulie GC the South Africans dominated with Charl Coetzee winning on 204 after rounds of 70, 68 and 66 with 17-year-old Grace, the SA strokeplay champion, second on 206.
