Rizal chan, owner of Williamsburg, Brooklyn-based building supply store Decorama Supplies, was formerly skeptical about offering Chinese imports. He worried about quality, the dependability of supply and customer reaction to kitchen cabinets bearing "Made in China'' labels.
Five years after placing his first small order, Mr. Chan is sold. Half of the $8 million worth of kitchen cabinets he sells annually comes from Chinese factories.
"Chinese goods are 90% less expensive than the same items from other countries, and the quality is just as good,'' says Mr. Chan.
