CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Aetna Foundation of Hartford, Conn. will award a $20,000 grant to Mecklenburg County's Health Department on Tuesday, Jan. 18 to help pay for immunizations in targeted Charlotte neighborhoods.
The grant will be used as part of Charlotte's "Success By 6" program, a community-wide effort of business, government, education, health, religious, volunteer, and human service organizations focused on early childhood development programs.
Success By 6 programs were initiated by United Way of Central Carolinas, and are intended to provide assistance in specific neighborhoods in Charlotte.
