Jun. 19--If you can settle for "almost certainly," the season premiere of History Detectives has a pretty good ending to a Canton story.
Airing tonight at 9 on PBS, the fourth-season premiere includes a segment shot in Canton about Shawn Kennedy, a man from Battle Ground, Wash., who has an old flag. His family believes the flag draped the coffin of President William McKinley. Kennedy lore also holds that
Shawn's great-grandfather, Charles, was a personal bodyguard to McKinley.
