Though the firing of Wayne Hagin is getting the headlines, the firing of another personality has the radio community buzzing. Much intrigue surrounds the news that Terry Dailey is no longer a part of the Frank O. Pinion show on KTRS (550 AM).
It's not unusual for personalities to be fired, but the handling of Dailey's dismissal just adds to the speculation. The true story is a personal matter. The comment of one member of the show should suffice-"it wasn't pretty."
O. Pinion hires and pays the other members of the show, but an insider says O. Pinion was told to fire Dailey, or management would do it for him. A KTRS staffer says O. Pinion was tired of ...
