Belarussian parliament unstirred by U.S. decision to freeze bank accounts
WASHINGTON. June 20 (Interfax) - Alexander Arkhipov, the head of the Law and Judiciary Commission of the lower house of the Belarussian parliament, said U.S. President George W. Bush's order to freeze Belarussian officials' bank accounts will not be retaliated.
U.S. President George Bush has ordered that all financial accounts of Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko and nine other highly placed Belarussian officials be frozen, and he has also banned U.S.
