An elderly Durban woman, who had been suffering with flu symptoms for several days and was struggling to breathe, was allegedly told to take her medication and go home. She died the next day
Mabel Nhlengethwa, 60, who was taken to the clinic on the Bluff last week, was in such a serious state that clinic officials referred her for urgent treatment to Wentworth hospital.
Nhlengwetha, left the hospital in considerable discomfort and did as she was told - she took her prescribed medication but within a day she was dead.
