Jun. 24--Some UTC students said the $20-per-semester athletic fee increase that was approved this week is yet another blow to their already lean budgets. But others say it is worth it because it will build up the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's athletic department.
"I think it's a good thing because sports help improve school spirit," 20-year-old junior Marlita Lucas said.
