Okay, I admit it. Like Thomas Jefferson, I am an obsessive list maker. I make shopping lists, a list of what to take when I go birding, a list of what to take when camping with the Boy Scouts, a list of everything with me when I cross a border into a foreign country (and another when I come back), and here I am now, creating a list of my lists! All of these lists reside inside plain manila folders, alphabetized in my filing cabinets.
I noticed the other day, when looking up a particular list, that I had a list of useful things if a storm created a power outage overnight, another list if a storm (perhaps a blizzard or hurricane) created a power situation for a few ...
