History
There is a little bit of history in the form of the Cham Towers, but Nha Trang has never been a big stopping place for tribes, kings, or marauding armies. It was a big (R&R) site for the US military during the War, however.
Getting There & Away
Nha Trang is well served by flights from all over Vietnam. It is a short trip from the airport to the town, costing a few dollars by taxi or Honda Om. The train station is also close to town, as is the bus station.
Where to Stay
Nha Trang has a huge variety of hotels, almost all within a few blocks of the Pacific beaches.
