PRAGUE. JUNE 26. INTERFAX CENTRAL EUROPE - CZECH SPENDING ON LIFE INSURANCE INCREASES; NON-LIFE'S FLAT - Spending by Czechs on non-life insurance was flat last year at CZK 19.3 bln, according to the Statistical Office, despite a general increase in household income. The increase in life-insurance premiums was 1.6%, for the lowest rise since 1993. The Czech daily Pravo says that people are cutting costs on the wrong thing by not paying more attention to non-life and life insurance. (Pravo)
