Either Charles Gibson is bone tired from his 19 years on the daybreak shift at "Good Morning America," or, finally reaching the pinnacle of his television career _ now officially anchoring ABC's "World News Tonight" _ the 63-year-old Gibson appears absolutely, positively bored.
What else could explain his lack of on-air charisma last week, when in four episodes of the network's evening news broadcast (he was off Friday), Gibson was without spark, without charm, without energy? And, no, "spark," "charm" and "energy" are not euphemisms for "youth," or they don't have to be. More so, it's that Gibson appears to lack curiosity, ...
