The New American Home '94, built in Las Vegas, NV, showcases new industry products and design. Sponsored by various consumer magazines, such as the Ladies' Home Journal, and the National Council of the Housing industry, and built by a team of professionals, the 5,191 sq ft house was especially designed for entertaining. The home was designed for a couple in their 30s or 40s with one child living at home and extra space for a visiting adult child or grandparent. Steel studs frame the house and foam-formed concrete walls are among the many innovative construction materials used.
