Jun. 29--Varicose and spider veins, most people agree, aren't pretty.
For years, neither was the lone treatment option -- a painful vein-stripping with two- to three-week recovery period. But advances in outpatient injection and laser treatments have increased the demand for cosmetic and, in some varicose vein cases, health-saving procedures.
