Smart City project to follow stringent norms: Kerala govt

Kochi, Jun 30 (PTI) Kerala government today said that Smart City project should be allowed to proceed, however, with stringent conditions.

Clearing its stand before a division bench of the Kerala High court headed by Chief Justice V K Bali today, the LDF Government said that the land for the project will not be given free of cost. However, the government agreed to transfer land at the prevailing market rate.
