CHICAGO, Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Tribune Company (NYSE: TRB) reported net income for the 1993 fourth quarter of $58.1 million, up 38 percent from $42.0 million for the fourth quarter of 1992.  Fourth quarter priman?et income per share rose 40 percent to $.80 versus $.57 in 1992.  The increases were primarily due to higher operating profit in the company's media businesses and lower net interest expense.
