Karachi, June 30 (PPI): City Nazim Karachi Syed Mustafa Kamal Friday said work on development projects involving record amount of Rs. 102.33 billion will start in fiscal year 2006-07 in the cosmopolitan city by City District Government Karachi. Addressing press conference here, he said this development budget was "not only unique because of its gigantic size but also has biggest development outlay in the history of Karachi."
He said City Council approved CDGK fiscal 2006-07 budgets of Rs. 44.285 billion but in real term total amount of city budget for next financial year was about Rs. 68.99 billion showing increase of Rs. 28 billion against last year's budget. He ...
