Jul. 4--An Allentown bakery whose cakes fed three generations of Lehigh Valley brides and grooms may have piped its last icing rose. George and Kathy Pandelios, owners of Bride's Bakery at 229 N. Sixth St., planned to retire this past weekend, Kathy Pandelios told us Thursday.
Several potential buyers for the bakery have fallen through, she said. At least one other person may be interested in buying, which means Bride's may reopen under new ownership.
