There are three places to eat at the Chateau Marmont. Ensconce yourself in the lounge, where the tassel-fringed couch sags a little in the middle and the tapestry patterns on the high-backed chairs are mismatched with British country estate authenticity. Head for the garden courtyard, where off-white canvas umbrellas shade the tables and the BPs. Or sit in the miniature dining room, whose upholstered silk walls, blue velvet banquettes, lace curtains, and Victorian-style lamps create a Miss Havisham effect.
